jeah i downloaded it yesterday and surfed "whole" day

... very fast! I like that "secure browser functionality" and "last visited websites in the new tabs".
Lets see what kind of add-ons will follow after a full version release.

well, thats our own lil "evolution in the box", it doesnt matter if its virtual anyway, we change it and on the other hand it changes us aswell
when it comes to the www the world changes almost every day, guess we'll have to rethink "concepts" like copyright/authorship, privacy or even identity, some will become obsolet, others will change dramatically, get used to it

yes and no... there are certain principles that shouldnt be dropped too easily.
new technology implies to accept changes, but it also comes with new responsibilities. datamining can be very powerful and a great basis for useful tools - even more so when tied to uid's... but if you cant control who gets ahold of that power over you (...and your identity), the whole thing is out of bounds. I dont care too much about google themselves using that data for ads - but the only way to make sure that other people with bad intentions dont get that ahold of that data and the abusive power that comes with it, is to make sure it's ot being compiled in the first place. Although I am sure there are heaps of smart people at google and I myself would love working for google after my diploma... they still cant assure 110% safety for your personal data. Thus: I am against datamining when it's tied to uid's and can be tracked back to individuals.
...thus: fuck chrome.

yeah well, i guess im to much of a cyberpunk fanboi, i cant even await the progress that the development of such tservices bring to get a clear look at the downside, for me google or whoever may have most of that what i'm refering to my "consumerself" but there are still axpects of me, that what makes me unique which no one can track because i dont share it as easily as my shopping behaviour.
